The Hiram Bingham is a luxury service. The cars are painted in the distinctive blue and gold color, while their interiors are luxurious, in a warm atmosphere elegantly decorated in the style of the Pullman trains of the 1920’s. Passengers will enjoy a car with shiny wood, good leather seats and clean windows. The convoy consists of 02 Dining Cars, an Observatory Car and a Kitchen Car, which can carry 84 passengers.
This service departs from Poroy station, 20 minutes from Cusco at 09:00 am. Lunch is served on board the train, while passengers appreciate a show. The scenery shows large plantations of the Sacred Valley, the Urubamba River, and the mountains.
When the train arrives in Aguas Calientes, bus units await passengers to continue their journey to the citadel in 30 minutes.
Passengers will be able to enter the ruins directly as tickets have been purchased directly.
After the guided tour guests can go to a fascinating place to enjoy the Afternoon Tea at the MacchuPicchu Santuary Lodge.
The train departs at 17:45. Passengers are welcomed with a cocktail served in the Car Bar, with live music. Then a 4-course dinner is served in the dining car.

12:24 a.m. Arrival at Machu Picchu You will board a bus and be taken along the zigzagging road to the Machu Picchu Citadel. Approximately 25 minutes.
01:00 p.m. Explore Machu Picchu with your guide. Hiram Bingham offers one guide for every 14 people.
04:00 p.m. to – 04:45p.m.
You are invited to afternoon tea at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, located a few steps from the entrance to the Ruins. Guides will accompany the group.
Feel free to stay at the citadel of Machu Picchu if you prefer, you can return to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge whenever you wish.
04:45 p.m. Board the bus that will take you to the train station.
Please note that before the station is located a handicraft market for you to shop if you prefer.
05:25 p.m. Be at Machu Picchu Station for immediate boarding.
Service personnel on board will show you to your pre-assigned seat.
05:50 p.m. Departure from Hiram Bingham.
Pisco Sours will be served before dinner, followed by a 4-course a la carte dinner, accompanied by a selection of Peruvian wines.
08:31 p.m. Arrival at Ollantaytambo Station.
